Men's Conference 2022

Save the date!   The Grace Road Men's Conference returns this fall on October 29! 

Why attend?

Maybe you've been to a men's conference before. Maybe you already listen to world-class preachers and podcasts regularly. Maybe you're tired, or busy. Why set aside the time?

Watching preachers behind a screen is a valuable tool, but it won't refresh your soul in the same way as being in the company of other believers singing joyfully, praying for one another, and walking in the Way of the Cross together.

We don't need more stereotypical images of what masculinity is. We should gather together as brothers to lift each other up in both accountability and hope in the Gospel.

Even if you "know" what is being discussed, come anyway! You may have much to offer others and God may be doing a work in you that is surprising. We tend to think that an event is worthwhile as long as we can get something out of it. That kind of consumerism is antithetical, if not counterproductive, to the work of the Gospel in our church.

Embrace this as an opportunity for connection and discipleship as we seek God’s face together.  What will the day be like?

This year’s Keynote Speaker is Jared Wilson!

Wilson is Assistant Professor of Pastoral Ministry and Author in Residence at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and General Editor of For The Church. With nearly 30 years of ministry behind him, Jared is known for his compassionate, convicting, and practical sermons.

Jared will be sharing on Gospel-Driven Manhood and the Discipleship Mandate for Men, instructing us on creating a legacy of faithfulness to the Gospel.

Breakout Sessions will also be offered on topics such as marriage, anger, singleness, and the relationship between brothers & sisters in the church.

Our final main session will feature a Panel of godly men from within our church to answer your questions on a variety of subjects.

Not only will you enjoy a day of speakers and time to connect with friends new and old, but breakfast and lunch are included as well. You'll also get a swag bag with some legit GR merch and a book! A few extra perks are in the works...we'll let you know!

Schedule

The conference will begin at 8 a.m. and wrap up around 4 p.m.

After the conference, keep the conversation going! Start thinking about what you'd like to do for dinner on that day. Maybe arrange a babysitter and take your wife out after she's been home all day with the kids? Start talking to the men in your Community Group about connecting afterward for a meal. Or, maybe keep your schedule free so you can grab coffee with a new friend.
