Men, whether they are single, husbands, or fathers, have an important role to play in God’s plan for the world. While the scriptures call men to be humble spiritual leaders, we are tempted to abdicate that role, abuse that role, or even ignore our calling altogether. On top of these internal pressures, we face external pressures that call even healthy expressions of masculinity “toxic” and unhelpful.

Proverbs 27:17 says that “As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.” In this spirit of exhortation, our aim in the Grace Road Men’s ministry is to remind men of our unique calling, challenge men to be living out our roles, and connect men with one another to share the load and pray for one another and the various responsibilities we shoulder at home, at work, and at church.

Our men meet on the first Saturday morning of every month (schedule below.) We will have breakfast, receive a challenge from God’s word in an aspect of our calling, and pray with one another. We will examine various aspects of biblical manhood.
