One of the international missions we support at Grace Road is located in Girona, Spain, where Guido Groeneveld and his family serve the community and have planted churches. Watch the video linked below for more depth of their journey. In addition, Jessie Hartley and Mikala Reiman will be joining them locally with their own missions in mind.
“We are so excited as we head off to Girona this fall! We are blessed with the opportunity to work alongside missionaries and church planters as they make Christ’s name known in Spain. We will be working with Guido and Evelin to help out with the English speaking church plant. Additionally, we’ll be working alongside Todd and Tabitha pouring into the professional cyclists by establishing gospel oriented friendships. Our goal is to create a space for a weekly young adult fellowship as people are hungry for community in Girona. "
Jessie will be taking her passion for counseling to the mission field and providing resources for the pastors and missionaries, both through counseling and education. Mikala plans on using her love of running and hospitality to establish friendships with the locals and use both of these things as a platform for gospel centered conversations.
" We are so grateful for our church family at Grace Road. We feel so supported and are eternally grateful for the community that has poured into both of us for the past few years. As we head over, we would love your support through prayer! We believe in the power of prayer and how it sets the foundation for all God has for us. Lastly, we are raising support for this trip through the Global Service Network, and have about $4,500 each left to raise out of our $9,000 goal. Grace Road Church is graciously supporting and sending us, and we would be blessed if you would consider giving financially to cover our various expenses as we head to Spain. We know that the Lord will abundantly provide for our needs and we are so grateful for the support we have received thus far."
